Soren Messner-Zidell, Digital & Creative Director, Brookings Institution

 Soren is a digital leader fluent at the intersection of multi-disciplinary design, multimedia, digital marketing, data visualization and branding. Early in his career, Soren got his start as a visual designer, and has since evolved into a digital generalist that leads large multidisciplinary teams of designers, developers, digital marketers, and multimedia storytellers. Soren’s background in design and branding gives him an edge in shaping integrated brand and digital systems that both delight and problem solve for stakeholders.

Soren absolutely loves the challenge of working with new people and getting to operational efficiency. He loves to build things and has a unique ability to push himself incredibly hard when it looks like the deck is stacked against him. He has no interest in the path of least resistance when it comes to accomplishing awesome work, but is also mindful that working with other people and forging great relationships matters as much as anything.
