Fred Dews produces podcasts at the Brookings Institution. Now in his twenty-sixth year at the organization, he launched the award-winning Brookings Cafeteria podcast in 2013 and hosted and produced over 400 episodes until closing the show. Fred has spoken at Podcast Movement six times, given presentations to the Public Relations Society of America and DC Podfest, and advised numerous nonprofits on how to create and promote a podcast. During more than two decades in digital communications, Fred has managed—in addition to his podcasting work—the Brookings website, led five website redesigns, overseen the production of 20 long-form essays, and participated in the creation and launch of an array of digital platforms, social media, and strategies.
